Hard sneezing is actually just being dramatic

Do you also find it so annoying, those people who sneeze really loudly? They do the ‘haaaaaaa-TSJOE’ and stretch the first syllable as long as possible. Very unnecessary and quite annoying, often. And then you feel like you can’t really say anything about it, because yes, some people just sneeze loudly. They can’t do it silently. Well… That’s not entirely true.
They found this out when they conducted research among the deaf and hard of hearing. And what turns out: they don’t sneeze at all with their vocal cords. Not with a ‘ha’ and also not with a ‘tsjoe’. This indicates that the hearing people have learned this themselves and thus have complete control over how loud it is.
But what is the reason behind it? American researchers decided to take a closer look at this. The result may seem a bit obvious, but it’s really true: the more extroverted the person, the louder the sneeze. Look, that’s a text for a tile.
So the louder the person, the louder the sneeze. Funny: extroverted people also sneeze more often. So if you hear someone really ‘showing off’ with three loud ‘hatsjoe’s’ (and then of course saying afterwards: ‘nice weather tomorrow’), then you know: that’s a loud person.
Then lastly, also quite important: does it actually make sense that we use sound? Well… No. Zero. Nada. Not at all. Therefore: pretentiousness. Now let’s all sneeze quietly and calmly. Keep it to yourself.
