Harvard advises: wear a mask during sex

And suddenly I see safe sex in a whole different light. You too? If you think in pictures like I do, then you now see the rubber condom (if there is a male involved in the sex), latex gloves, and of course a non-medical face mask. Harvard gives quite remarkable advice on protecting yourself during sex in times of corona.

Whether COVID-19 is sexually transmissible remains the question, but anyone who is sexually active knows that there is also (usually) kissing involved during sex. That’s why scientists from Harvard advise limiting your sexual partners to a minimum and wearing a face mask whenever possible. Even if you dive into bed with the same person each time, because you never know where he/she has been and what virus they might have picked up.

So put on that face mask when you get down to business this weekend. By the way, it’s also best not to have sex with people who have symptoms (duh), shower before and after the rolling around, and disinfect the crime scene after intercourse.

And suddenly you go from Double Dutch to Triple Dutch. Sex has never been so clinical.
