Churros with a twist in the Airfryer

Because you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone every now and then, I force myself not to always just make fries and bitterballen in the Airfryer. You can actually do so much more with it. Since it's Spanish week at Philips, churros seemed like an incredibly fun idea. With chocolate sauce. A bit of vacation at home. And by making the churros in the Airfryer, they also become nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

The recipe is not complicated, you just need to factor in some time for the dough to rise. And make sure to use a sturdy piping bag, otherwise the dough will come out the sides instead of the tip. Believe me: I speak from experience. But other than that: you will impress and leave people in awe when you casually put some churros on the table with a delicious chocolate sauce to dip in. Want real adventure? Sprinkle some chili flakes into the sauce. Speaking of a twist.
