Want to see/not see: the docu of Taylor Swift

I have a kind of thing with Taylor. I think she's awesome, but also somewhat annoying. You can't get around her. Maybe that's a talent too: making sure no one can get around you. She was for a long time the most followed Insta-celebrity, and also the highest-earning female artist. Broke the hearts of the most beautiful men in the music world. But what exactly is her strength? That she's pretty, but not intimidatingly beautiful? That she sings country and comes across as down to earth and authentic? The Ilse-DeLange effect? The fact that she is the queen of Hollywood cuties but seems so sweet in the meantime? Anyway: Americans are CRAZY about Taylor. So is Netflix, because the streaming service has announced that the documentary ‘Miss Americana’ about Taylor Swift will be added to the lineup on January 31. Netflix describes the doc as ‘a raw and emotionally revealing look at one of the most iconic artists of our time, during a transitional period in her life where she embraces her role as a songwriter and singer, but also that of a woman learning to use her voice.’ You understand: somewhere I don't want to watch and yet I do. And not. And do. Taylor girl, you confuse me.
