Is this the sign that Hitch is getting a sequel?

Oh, I hope so, I hope so, I hope so. All nice and well that endless stream of romantic comedies on Netflix, but Hitch is from the era when we still happily dove into a cinema with two buckets of popcorn and a liter of diet cola to watch a movie. And for Hitch 2, I would do it all over again.

Eva Mendes tells Entertainment Tonight that it’s high time. She even calls out to Will Smith. Mendes’ exact words: ‘You know what? It’s time for a Hitch 2. Will, let’s do this. Hitch 2.’ Will, in the feathers, after fifteen years we are ready for some romance from your hand again. Eva seems to find it extra fun because we have an oversupply of dating apps. ’What would Hitch do? He’d be out of a job.’ We don’t think so, it’s actually time for an old-school romance.
