It is extremely good news if you get irritated quickly

Ah, so nice this: finally a little study in which I can completely identify. Not that I'm always in a bad mood, you know. On the contrary, I'm quite a cheerful person. But if something irritates me... I passionately wrote last week about when the turn signal is not placed in front of me, and well, then I just boil inside. I'm not very good with change either. Half a year ago, I moved my couch from one wall to the other and I was completely thrown off. And then irritated again because I was so thrown off. A vicious circle indeed. Anyway, I can get quite irritated. But hey, look at that: it just comes from the fact that I am a true Einstein . That makes it clear again.
The University of New Wales and Stanford University have actually conducted research. Sorry guys, this one is only for women. Because the women they studied who got irritated quickly were the smartest women in the group. But it’s not that when you’re grumpy, you should immediately take an IQ test. I think that backfires, and before you know it, you’re smashing your laptop on the ground. We don’t want that. And that’s not where intelligence shows (wow). No, it’s actually in how we, as smart, irritated women, act while we’re so stepped on. Apparently, we make — it seems — better decisions. Not only that, we also showed a better memory than the non-irritated (and thus less intelligent) women.
Look, who am I to go against the opinion of, for example, Stanford University, but I don’t feel like I always make the brightest decisions when I’m irritated (and I do see myself as extremely intelligent, of course, you understand…). And I also think my last lover would agree with that. When I was irritated by him, or just outright angry, I didn’t always make the best decisions. Hanging up angrily without saying anything? Well, not very smooth or mature. Did he want to go home and I didn’t? Then I’ll just order rebellious SHOTS. No, I don’t think he completely agrees with this, but he does think I’m a very intelligent woman. And if he doesn’t think that for a moment, I might get irritated again, prove the opposite, and the circle is complete again. I do feel something for this research.
It’s also very nice that this research revealed that quickly irritated women have a ‘constantly underlying bad mood’. HAHA. It sounds a bit like it’s a monster that’s always lurking and can escape at any moment, but yes, that’s often how a grumpiness outburst feels. Anyway, we apparently can perform incredibly cool analyses because of this and don’t make decisions based on emotions quickly. Smart of us, right?
