If you like to walk around naked, you are actually intelligent
People who like to throw off their clothes as soon as they get home and then parade around the house in their birthday suit. You either are or you aren't.
We have outstanding news for all the nudists among us: you would actually be smarter if you love being naked. Private nakedness, that is, right? Science gives every lover of the birthday suit great credit. Researchers from the University of Rochester asked 1000 people about their habits at home. And yes, there seems to be a connection between high intelligence and the joy of being completely naked. Airing out vajayjays and all. freely swinging peonies so, throughout the whole house. Whether you are vacuuming or just lounging. Being naked alone can be your personal preference.
Moreover, it has little to do with having sex you know, that naked stuff at home. No way, it's just about comfort. No pinching bras or tight thongs – just sprawled out on the couch with little fuss on your body. Position relaxed, but then in your bare bottom. One person prefers to put on a tracksuit or a bathrobe, and another takes off those tight skinny jeans when going to bed – and so everyone has their thing. Furthermore, it also appears that people who regularly visit a nudist campsite or a nude beach are generally more educated (with at least HAVO/VWO).
That wasn't the only thing the researchers discovered. They also state that smarter people tend to swear more, prefer a spicy breakfast, and regularly speed in the left lane while driving. And oh yes, they are also more often found in the pub than others. Whether one has to do with the other... We dare not say.
What we do know for sure: we gladly pour ourselves a glass of wine after a day of work while we toss our jeans and top straight onto the floor. And then we feel very smart from now on, yes. Now let's hope no one rings the doorbell.
FACTS
– In the Netherlands, nearly 2 million people regularly go naked to recreational hotspots, such as nudist camps or nude beaches.
– Nudist camps are more often visited by Dutch people abroad than in their own country (yay, we prefer not to run into acquaintances, you know).
– The main reason for nudism? 70% indicates that they feel ‘freer’ this way.
