Why cleaning products surprisingly have a lot of influence on your sex life
For those who want to get it on again: take a look in your kitchen cabinet. And pay attention to your cleaning products.
Or your vacuum cleaner, that works too. And don't just stop at looking, no, go cleaning . Uh. Where is this going, you might think? It has been proven that couples who clean together have a better sex life. So don't clean alone, but do it hand in hand with your flame. Researcher Daniel Carlson from Georgia State University knows how the broomstick works. He looked at different types of couples: couples where both contribute equally to the household, more modern male households, and couples where the man works and the woman mainly takes care of the home.
The result: partners who both clean and do laundry equally have sex more often than couples where one does much more around the house than the other. Being busy with cleaning products leads to an average of 6.8 times of sex per month. That's twice as much as the other lovebirds did.
It actually has a logical explanation: couples who share the burdens of life a bit are happier with their relation than others. There is nothing as exhausting as nagging each other about whether or not to mop the bathroom. Not to mention the pent-up anger that builds up when you have to load and unload the dishwasher for the umpteenth time... From now on, ask your sweetheart to join you, because it still holds true: those who are happy have a vibrant sex life. And according to scientists, you become happy from cleaning together.cleaning.
You will never look at that mopped floor the same way again, that's one thing for sure.
