The woman we all have in our hearts after her participation in Expedition Robinson. In fact: she is the nicest person I met in 2019. And yes, from New York City I still get very regular voice memos from this one and only catwalk queen. I miss Mariana. Just a quick message to see what she's up to.

YES. Meeting agents (for The Model Convention), going to
shows AND parties of course :-)

I wouldn't expect anything less from you, you little party animal. But, The Model Convention? Explain what that is...

In short: from the 22nd I will be at the Huishoudbeurs to
give free catwalk lessons every day. Are you coming too? Hall 2!

Catwalk lessons seem really awesome to me, haha.
But to be honest, I don't really know how my walking skills are.
What do you actually focus on during catwalk lessons?
[15:36] Mariana:
At first mainly on posture and appearance, then I learn
the ‘walking technique’.
[15:43] Kiki:
But when are you coming to the Netherlands then?
I'm in the mood for wine.
[15:44] Mariana:
Then put it in the fridge. SUNDAY!!

Lately a lot from the fellow contestants of Expedition
of course.

Private or for work?

Uh, both!

LOL, here we go: in the past year I've used that cross a lot and then twice in a row (20 years of Expedition!). Privately I'm a fan of the champagne bottle, the heart, the tongue emojis and of course the lobster.

Oh yes, I really love the lobster too. Look, I have this in a screenshot.

Which emoji do you really find ugly?

That thumb! So annoying.

Incredibly stupid that thumb, HAHA.

But I do use it sometimes.

Mariana!!! It's even number 1 for you. And in three skin tones, what
are you talking about, HAHA.

Oh, I just found out recently that I could change the color.
Then I found it a bit nicer.

What was your average screen time today?
[16:09] Mariana:
52 minutes. But it's morning here, just woke up.
But yesterday, ahem... 7 hours! Bam!
[16:09] Kiki:
WHAT?? SO MUCH?
[16:11] Mariana:
Yes, but that's really because of The Model Convention. It's
busy weeks now.
[16:14] Kiki:
Are you scouting boys AND girls at the Huishoudbeurs by the way?
[16:14] Mariana:
Absolutely! Boys are also very HOT right now. There were a lot of boys walking in the women's shows this season. And in women's clothing
too. Very 70’s and rock & roll. We're also looking for plus-size and
commercial models. They're versatile!
