Justin Bieber is accused of assault

justin bieberJustin Bieber was suddenly trending on Twitter yesterday. Now, that happens more often with The Biebs of course because he is popular, but this occasion was less pleasant. On Twitter, several women shared their unpleasant experiences with celebrities. It seems Ansel Elgort is not exactly innocent. He was mentioned by Gabby in a long Twitter thread, after which he quickly came out with a statement that their relationship indeed took place, with her full consent. A pretty significant detail here is that she was 17 and he was 20 (which is illegal in many American states) and that more girls came forward afterwards. He even approached girls as young as 14, and the evidence in the form of screenshots was also posted on Twitter.

But suddenly, the name of The Biebs also came up. Danielle was with her friends at an event hosted by Scooter Braun (Justin's manager) in Austin on March 9, 2014. According to her, they were approached by a man who asked if they wanted to take a photo with Justin. Well, they certainly wanted to do that, and they also accepted the invitation for an after-party at the Four Seasons hotel.

Danielle claims she was then taken aside and Justin took her to a room, where he tried to kiss her against her will. Eventually, Justin stopped and they went back to the hotel room.

“I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight. Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement. In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location. As her story told I did surprise a crowd in Austin at Sxsw where I appeared on stage with my then assistant side stage and sang a few songs. What this person did not know was that I attended that show with my then gf Selena Gomez.”

A pretty long response from The Biebs; he posted the above on Twitter today. And well, it seems to me that this situation can be easily verified, right? Justin plans to take legal action against this accusation, so to be continued.
