Keep your house hotel-room tidy even in times of corona

Suddenly you are home all day. TOGETHER. And with a bit of bad luck, your cleaner is not allowed inside. Everyone is eating a little throughout the day, so there are dishes everywhere, and because everyone is working and learning from home, before you know it, it's a complete mess. I will give you tips for a hotel-clean house. It's easier than you think.
1. Make your bed
Right after you get out of it. And smooth it out a bit more with your hands. Now let's hope that three daughters don't start doing somersaults on your bed, but you'll see about that later. A bedspread helps to keep your bed really smooth, and put on seventeen pillows à la Charlotte from Sex and the City, and it looks like the Amstel.
2. Get everything done
The dishes, the laundry, come on, let that stuff run. And impose a strict punishment for placing dirty dishes on the counter. ‘Oh, I thought the dishwasher was clean?’ Well, if you thought it was clean, then you could have emptied it, right?
3. Straighten everything up
Now you have all the time for that. Your rolls of toilet paper (just kidding), your stacks of Barilla spaghetti, your jars of jam. Just take a nice cloth through the cabinets, sort by type and keep the labels visible. You'll enjoy it.
4. Check the mail immediately
Don't let it pile up because that creates unrest and mess. Go through it right away, pay everything you need to pay (otherwise it will only get more expensive), and throw away all the junk mail immediately.
5. Do phone tasks
While you are on the phone (especially if you have AirPods), do a little task. Go through the stack of newspapers and magazines, check the products in your fridge for expiration dates, straighten the placemats, and so on. You'll see that if you do this every day, your house will look neater during times of corona.
6. Throw away but take photos
Of drawings, Mother's Day crafts, old agendas. What do you have to gain from them?
7. Use this
I am in love with the laundry perfume from Essenza di Elba. Then you just feel like doing laundry and ironing.
