Everyone who knows me knows that I believe everyone should be able to express any act of love to someone else on ANY day of EVERY year. So in an act of resistance against this outdated tradition, I decided to say ‘yes’ to MYSELF! I wear this ring today with pride to remind everyone that you are the only one whose permission you need to love.’
