Must visit: Koukounariés Beach

Now that it is 35 degrees and steaming hot, the most beautiful beach sounds even more tempting than it already did. As we speak, the access roads are probably already closed towards Zandvoort and Bloemendaal, so we dream away to more remote destinations. Take the most beautiful beach in Europe, for example. Sounds good, right?

If it's good enough according to Condé Nast Traveler, then I dare to almost blindly recommend a destination to you. Although I did check if it was travel-advisory wise possible. Now that the beaches of Zanzibar and St. Barth are a no go, we are going to Skiathos. Let me just say that I'm crazy about Greece.

This island in the Aegean Sea has been crowned by CN Travelers as the island with the most beautiful beaches, which can apparently be found on every street corner, and especially Koukounariés Beach is a must-visit. Where the pine trees transition from land to beach and almost seem to end in the sea. On the wishlist: Skiathos.
