New Scandinavian crime series coming to Netflix

I can never get enough of the combination of Scandinavian and crime series. My god, I can still talk for hours about how unbelievably crazy Kalifat was. But also The Bridge, The Killing, actually just everything that comes from Scandinavia and is thrilling. So when that offering is expanded again, that's fantastic news. Period.
So here it is, I have fantastic news for you. The series The Unlikely Murderer is coming to Netflix and like many other series, this one is also based on a book. It was written by Thomas Pettersson and is about the murder of Swedish minister Olof Palme. Just to clarify: that murder is based on true events. He was murdered in 1986. Shot dead on the street.
This murder was only solved last June. Or well, officially. Just like the murder of John F. Kennedy, this assassination is surrounded by all sorts of conspiracy theories. This book is about Stig Engström, who was always seen as the main suspect but ultimately passed away before he was convicted. And whether he was ultimately identified as the perpetrator? I won't spoil that, but it's obviously easy to find on Google.
Anyway, I think this will be another very exciting binge-watch series. Can't miss, right? Just have to wait a bit unfortunately, because it won't be online until 2021. Even a month or a day is not yet known... A bit of pace please, Netflix.
