Next level mudslinging: the battle of the Glee cast continues

In the left corner? Samantha Ware. And okay, maybe some other cast members too. Right corner? Lea Michele. What the heck happened there during the recordings?

Samantha Ware claims she is fed up with silence and opens up about her former Glee colleague Lea Michele. According to her, the star of the show is anything but a nice girl. ‘I knew it from day one when I tried to introduce myself. It never went gradually. As soon as she decided she didn't like me, it was clear,’ says Samantha, who came forward with the story last week after years. She was treated so disrespectfully that she went ‘through a real hell,’ she tells in an honest interview with Variety.

Samantha talks about the underhanded tactics, the intimidation, racist remarks, and the ‘weird passive aggression’ from Michelle. According to her, Lea's diva behavior was nothing new for the cast. ‘Everyone thought: that's just how she is.’ This allowed the environment to continue this abuse. Samantha is now being supported by Heather Morris (Brittany in the series), who also states that it wasn't really a party to work with Lea. ‘This was also on us, because we let it happen for so long without intervening.’

The feud escalated when Michelle first spoke out on Twitter about the Black Lives Matter issue. That rubbed Samantha the wrong way. ‘Do you remember how you made my very first TV gig the biggest hell on earth? And that you told everyone who would listen that you would shit in my wig? That comment and a number of other very questionable things you said made me doubt whether I should continue my acting career in Hollywood.’

Actress Imia Edwards (also in the Glee cast, but with a less prominent role) has nothing good to say about Lea. ‘I've never seen anyone act like that. She burped in my face, deliberately stepped on my foot, and called us extras cockroaches,’ Imia said to The Sun.

Lea went through the mud and apologized on Instagram. HelloFresh dropped her shortly after in a promotional deal. ‘I have listened to the criticism and I am learning. I am very sorry, but I will do better in the future. I have absolutely used the past few months to work on my own shortcomings.’
