Obama makes his first TikTok video and the world is obsessed
Recording your first clip and going viral immediately. Of course Obama pulls it off. To celebrate the release of his new book, A Promised Land, the former president made an appearance on the TikTok account of Penguin Teen.
‘This book expresses the incredible hope I have in you. Take this and pass it on,’ he says in the short video. Obama hands the book to someone off-screen, which is of course brilliantly conceived because the man immediately inspired other TikTok users to play the person receiving the book. There you have it: a hype is born. Already looking forward to more Obama content.
