Oh yes: the cabinet is coming today with easing of measures

It’s the final countdooooooown, tudududuuuu, tudududuuuuuuu. Okay sorry, I couldn't help it. So far, every press conference has been somewhat of a, well, bad news. Rutte had to deliver the hard news in his own way (and honestly: he did it amazingly, that's why I wrote him a letter): hang in there, we are not there yet. And well, you need to have a long breath and patiently wait, what else can you do? But by now we can cautiously say that the intelligent lockdown has become a lot less lockdown-like.
Children can go back to school (in fact, they are almost on summer vacation HOW COME HAHA), the terraces are open again, just like the hairdresser and the cinema, and in a few days the gyms will follow. Next step? Traveling? Will there be any major new rules agreed upon for that? I’m curious. It is clear that the cabinet will announce a significant easing of the corona measures today. The maximum number for groups will completely disappear (HOORAY) as long as you still maintain that 1.5 meters distance. This is, of course, what the hospitality industry has been hoping for for four months. And the cafes. The theaters. And you. And me. And Rutte. And everyone. Yes. Yes. Yes.
