Our budget beauty favorites
Isn't it wonderful to have a beauty item in your cabinet that is nice and affordable? I must honestly say: until a few years ago, I always thought: ‘the more expensive, the better’, but that is really not true. Take for example my skin cleanser and day cream that I was recommended by skin specialist Annelijn van Ierland from Skinkliniek. They have a very nice price and work really fantastic. Now I can happily apply without being stingy, because with more expensive products I always pay a bit more attention. But that's really not good, because did you know that every beauty product has an expiration date? An average cream is only good for one year, a foundation can only be used for six months after opening and that mascara has to go in the trash after three months. Do you store it in a humid or warm space? Then take a few extra weeks off. (How can you check this? On your product, you will find a symbol: a small open jar, with the number of months it is good for after opening.)
Fortunately, it is not necessary to always buy an expensive product, and there are plenty of budget beauty products that are just as nice. I digitally pulled my colleagues at Amayzine by the sleeve and asked what their all-time beauty favorites are. Of course, all for a small price. Shop them!
