Positive coffee brewing talk: the good news of today

Because we get enough of the serious news served, let's have something light in between. Like why you can legally sit in your pajamas today and that you can rent guinea pigs.
Great in your pajamas
I missed this note for a moment, because today is apparently National Work in Your Pajamas Day. It seems funny to me when you fire up Zoom and find all your colleagues in checks and trims and lace, because those PJs really don’t have to be boring.
Guinea pigs for rent
If you suddenly have plans to get a pet now that you’re in quarantine (I confess), it might be wise to lease first. This way you can see if you like it at children’s farm De Bossche Hoeve. Guinea pigs for three months, you just a bit more fun and entertainment around you. Win-win. This morning a dog seemed nice to me, but suddenly I could also keep some funny little goats in the garden.
Hèrmes is open and making millions
This falls more into the category of too-bizarre-for-words. In China, Hèrmes opened its doors after the lockdown, you would think you might go to see your family or visit your favorite coffee shop, but no. In Guangzhou, the Hermès store made 2.7 million dollars in one day. You can come up with all sorts of theories like people wanting to reward themselves after isolation, but let’s hope it says something about the potential recovery of the economy.
TikTok, TikTok
As if the creators of TikTok knew we would have plenty of time on our hands. The medium seems to be made for ultimate boredom in quarantine. Just like Bella Hadid, who suddenly appeared with gray hair instead of her usual dark locks. And it seemed funny to Britney (yes: Spears) to TikTok her ex Justin.
