Round up your single friends for the Great Dating Bingo

So last week, I did something heartbreaking with two girlfriends. Two single girlfriends, by the way. I do recommend doing this game, although single friends can just join in with the bingo. Because a game of bingo does not have to be at all old-fashioned and not at all boring with a number being announced every 10 seconds. No no, I present to you: the Great Dating Bingo.

After all, my two girlfriends and I are single and over dinner we were - surprisingly - talking about our dating and sex lives. Or rather, the lack thereof. Girlfriend 1 finally had another date scheduled that following evening, so of course we had to discuss it in detail beforehand. Would there be kissing? She was going to cook for him, but would he arrive with a bottle of wine? Would they have sex on the first date and if so, would he have condoms with him? Would he send an app right away saying it was fun, or not hear from him? So plenty of predictions as we discussed all this for over an hour.

‘OK, then we'll have dinner the night after to discuss this and I can tell you if you were right with your predictions.’ Totally a top plan. But of course, those predictions are more fun when a game element is added to them. And voilà: The Great Dating Bingo was born. Sixteen boxes with sixteen predictions (you can sometimes have the same predictions, of course). Afterwards, the dating friend tells in story form how the date went and so the participants find out step by step (bingo by bingo?) whether they were right. And of course exclaim ‘BINGO!’ when there is bingo. The prizes? You can come up with those yourself. In our case, the prize was that a three-course meal will be cooked for the winner.
