This is how you drink the drink of 2020 the best

My very first cautious steps into the world of liqueur were with a Disaronno under strict parental supervision, of course. It was an instant connection between me and the liqueur, but now there is the creamy sister, and it can only be a worthy companion to the original.
Where do we prefer to drink that brand new Disaronno Velvet?
I'll tell you mine. Do you know what the most beautiful evenings on board are? When you are back in the harbor after a day on the water with nice wind and sun that ensures at least twenty-five degrees. That one moment when the sun sets, the wind calms down, you sit in the cockpit freshly washed but still a bit rosy, the espresso is just finished, and the mosquitoes are not there yet. Pour me a glass of Velvet at exactly this hour and I hit the pause button to stretch it out immensely.

‘The girls have had their bath, I took Monti out for her last round. My work for today is done. I settle into our garden house, candles on, little fire on. Yes, it works and, breathe in, breathe out, the smoke is going the right way, so not towards my neighbors’ bedroom (that happens sometimes) but upwards. I have earned something special. ‘My perfect Disaronno Velvet moment will take place next summer. I will no longer be pregnant, and I can drink again, yay. Corona is a thing of the past, so I am very close to all my favorite people and eat all the delicious stinky cheeses, raw fish, and other treats that I still have to avoid for the baby boy in my belly. Oh, and there is sand between the toes. Because we are sitting at a very long table on a terrace by the sea. Or even better: at one of these places in the world.’

‘Now that the restaurants are still not open and the terraces are still closed, I regularly grab a bag full of goodies for an extensive picnic adventure. This way, I move myself to the nearest water and secretly I find it much cozier than the terrace. You get to completely choose your own bag of goodies. Besides some fruit and my favorite cheese: Le Délice de Bourgogne, I take fresh baguette and some charcuterie, but what definitely cannot be missing in my bag full of goodies is my new addiction: Disaronno Velvet. As a dessert: you are guaranteed to score points.’
