Dank je, Netflix: Too Hot To Handle komt terug

netflix too hot to handle

Don't lie, the chances are pretty high that you did too watched Too Hot To Handle. After Love Is Blind, I was completely into dating series again (thanks for that, Netflix), but because I was a big fan of Lauren and Cameron, I thought I was watching for the romance, and the idea that real love can actually be found. So right after that, I watched Too Hot To Handle and I'm back to: f*ck that romance, I want to see ordinary drunk people. To be honest, I didn't think Netflix would seek out this edge of vulgarity and I don't know if I'm positively surprised or disappointed. What I do know is that Too Hot To Handle is the ultimate hate-watching.

And then I'm talking about Haley. You know, the girl who was obsessed with Francesca. ‘Otherwise, we'll just pretend we're in love.’ Hm-hm. ‘Pretend’, of course, Haley. By the way, the voice-over was really spot on the whole series, and also the only one with a bit of a normal thought process. And deliciously sarcastic. What I personally didn't expect is that I would find Harry and Francesca a nice couple (admit it: they really pulled themselves together at the end) and also that I would care at all whether they are still together. But here I am, eagerly waiting for that reunion that comes online this week.

YES, because Too Hot To Handle is back. Extra Hot: The Reunion is what it's called and it will be online this Friday. The day after tomorrow. Totally fine. We'll see which participants are still together, how they experienced everything, and whether Haley now knows where Australia is and/or if she knows what is on her tattoo. I don't see those last two things happening, by the way.

If, like me, you were very curious about the couples, you might have done some research. It seems that — yes, spoilers — Harry and Francesca are still together (whut? I didn't see that coming) and that Rhonda and Sharron have broken up. Rhonda is even said to be back with her ex. Hmm, juicy. Oh, and I hope for many quotes from Chloe, she really deserves the majority of the airtime. I find her hilarious.

On Friday, we'll know everything, and... Will that second season maybe be announced too? It can't be otherwise than that this series just gets a sequel, right? And can Chloe participate again? That seems super to me.
