The movies and series that make you feel like you're in Paris

Yes yes, Paris is always a very good idea. Or well, always, the idea is fun anyway, but due to our big friend ‘Rona it’s not exactly feasible right now. In fact, France is going into lockdown starting Friday, so Paris may only be a six-hour drive away, there’s no chance we’ll actually get close.

But where there’s a will, there’s a way. Luckily, we have all the cities a bit at our disposal thanks to Netflix and Videoland. So lovely to dream away with, because in reality it can always be a bit disappointing. It doesn’t always have to be, of course, but the biggest cities are always so beautifully romanticized on TV. Delightfully clean. Always nice weather (unless it’s useful for the scene that it’s different, of course). And in the case of Paris: never too crowded. No lines in front of the Mona Lisa. The Eiffel Tower is just for you. Walking along the Seine without encountering a soul. That can only be in movies and series.

So let’s dream away with that. I present to you: the ultimate watchlist to make you feel like you’re in Paris. Buy a baguette in advance, enjoy a nice vin rouge with it, and stop by the fromagerie. You don’t have to leave the house for now.
