The juicy gossip behind season 7 of MAFS

Oooh guys, I find it a bit of a shame. That season 5 just doesn't really compare to season 6 or 7. Yes, I'm of course talking about MAFS. And now I can very well imagine that some people think that fifth season is just amazing. I clearly go more for the drama and a gigantic amount of lip fillers. Now we know that too. But those are the people who cause the most drama, both in front of and behind the camera. And season 6 had a reasonably long aftermath with a gigantic catfight between Ines, Jess, and Martha — season 7 can also deliver, you know. I've lined up the juiciest stuff for you. I'll start right away with the spiciest, because this one broke my heart a bit.

Connie would play a role
NOOO, my heart really melted for Connie. I found her so sweet and I really wanted her to have a nice guy who felt the same for her. Okay, it was a bit too much of a good thing that Jonethen wrote ‘leave’ three times in a row and that Connie just wanted to stay stubborn (I never fully understood that action), but now it turns out that she is not so sweet and insecure after all... If we are to believe the other cast members, that is. They say that she cleaned up her Instagram quite a bit before participating. In fact, she would be quite the party girl and would work as a model. Jonethen would also have said that she was a very different girl when the cameras were rolling. Cathy has also spoken out about this, about the fact that Connie was not exactly nice to her. KC later said that this was also the case for her. Members of the production have confirmed this anonymously. Oh Connie. Such a shame.

Stacey and Jess don't exactly get along
You would think they have a lot in common, but nothing could be further from the truth: Jess allegedly called Stacey all sorts of names on social media. That didn't sit well. Stacey remains a lawyer and has therefore filed a lawsuit for defamation. To be continued.

Steve would actually be into men
I've discussed this before, but it remains a persistent rumor that keeps going around. It would at least explain why nothing physical happened between Mishel and him, but why on earth would you participate then? By the way, he also participated in the Australian version of First Dates, so maybe he just wants a bit more fame.

Hayley Vernon has a new online job
She has gone on OnlyFans: for about 17 dollars a month you get access to her videos. By the way, those are said to have leaked online as well, but I don't feel particularly called to go look for them. Apparently, they involve a dildo and are very graphic.

Amanda is broke
Even worse: she has even set up a GoFundMe for herself. She wants to move from Melbourne to the Gold Coast and she can't afford quarantine in a hotel. I don't quite understand a lot of this, but okay. On Instagram, she further explains that she is currently not working full-time, but that it's no longer feasible in Melbourne due to corona. Her income now comes from Centrelink, a kind of Australian welfare. I find it striking that her solution lies in asking for money from strangers. But okay: this is also to be continued, probably.

Mishel is really not having a good time
So sad, this. Mishel was captured on camera while she — clearly affected — arrived at Brisbane airport. She had arranged to meet a ‘fan’ she knows through Instagram and it turns out to have been just as bad a plan as it sounds, because the fan never showed up and so she was left standing there alone. How sad is that. She wasn't too shy to take pictures with some other fans in the meantime and tell them the whole story.
