The makers of Bridget Jones come with a new Christmas movie

Yesss, so fun this. Every Christmas again — without exception — I watch a Bridget Jones movie. Sometimes all three. Even when it's not Christmas, by the way, because I can really watch them all year round. Numero uno remains the all-time favorite (I believe for almost everyone), but the humor in the other films is also enjoyable. If you completely agree with this, then I have some really nice news for you.
The director of the first and third Bridget Jones film, Sharon Maguire, is coming out with a Christmas movie. This year still. As in: December 4th it will be online on Disney+. Haaallelujah, that's just next week and I need to quickly reactivate that Disney+ subscription, because the trailer looks great.
The main roles are played by Jillian Bell and Isla Fisher. Bell plays fairy Eleanor, who is still in training (yes, apparently that's a thing) and it is her task to travel this year to a little girl in the real world to make her wish come true. Ahh, sweet.
But it goes a little differently and she doesn't end up with a little girl, but with the 40-year-old MacKenzie (Fisher). But a promise is a promise, so she will try to make that wish come true anyway. I completely forgot to mention the name of the film: it's called Godmothered.
A bit of the dry humor à la Bridget Jones, but mainly a nice feel-good movie and I don't think I've ever seen anything with Isla Fisher that I didn't like. Okay, Disney+, I'm sold: you have me back as a member.
