The mismatching at First Dates VIPS

After Irene and Frits at the table with Jinek, I had to know what was going on with that First Dates. Never seen a second of it, until now. I tuned in to the VIP edition and my heavens, what emotions. I'm not necessarily talking about the emotions of the participants, but especially about my own.

First things first: Sergio nice guy, Victor nice guy. Just with those two, you already have a great evening, it seems to me. Actually, there were only three dates in the program that didn't make me cringe: those of Frits Huffnagel, Jill van Dooren, and Kasper Paalman. Although I did feel some discomfort during the date of the last one, but they themselves didn't show any signs of it, which made it okay.

Then the dates you wouldn't want for any gold. That of Irene van de Laar, because how could you forget her name, Gjalt? When you clearly know how incredibly annoying it is to have to repeat your name, which must have happened to you at some point as well. By the way, I can say this because I speak from experience. But during the date of Jetty Mathurin, I was practically crawling on the floor out of embarrassment. First of all, because the man at the table kept talking about 'ladies'. Ladies? That you would even dare to say that in the presence of a woman like Jetty. At the cargo bike with the poffertjes stall, he briefly had a slightly higher cuddle factor, until he threw the built-up cuddles overboard by saying (and I just can't believe I have to write this here) that Black Pete must stay?

Creators of First Dates VIPS: how is that possible? Has there ever been a moment when your fingerspitzengefühl took over and all alarm bells went off? I don't think so. I should correct myself, because it's not entirely true that these were the dates I would never want for any gold. I would actually quite like to date Irene van de Laar and Jetty Mathurin. What intelligent, cheerful, nice, and beautiful women. Only I probably wouldn't pass the selection of the creators, because I am both a woman and in a relationship. Although, if you saw what was coming in now…

By the way, Jetty casually asked the question we all want to ask Sergio: are you also a candidate? Haha. Gotta love Jetty. Maybe I should watch again next week.
