The Netflix docuseries about Jeffrey Epstein is a must-see

Jeffrey Epstein docu

It was of course a bit to be expected, this. I really love conspiracy theories, it can't be crazy enough for me, so when Jeffrey Epstein suddenly hanged himself, I dove straight into the deep dark web. Because is it really suicide or is there something more behind it? As with every conspiracy theory, there is a lot of evidence for both sides, and I have chosen to believe that it is not suicide. Just because that is juicy, and because I would find it so cowardly if he could have chosen his own way out. What a scumbag, that guy.

But sometimes truth is really stranger than fiction, so when such a scandal develops around Jeffrey Epstein, it is of course logical that a documentary comes out of it. And Netflix is the first to do so: it's called Filthy Rich and it comes out on May 27. And the trailer is already out too. The conspiracy theory I mentioned earlier is also addressed right away, so I am very curious how they will tackle that storyline.

Furthermore, the docu Filthy Rich focuses – of course – mainly on his actions. The young girls, his private island, his house with secret rooms filled with camera equipment... The determination of those young women, who want justice at all costs. They also state that it is not just Epstein who is guilty; it is a whole circle, a group that does these kinds of things. Disgusting. Just to be clear: Epstein's ‘BFF’, which means she recruited many young girls for him, Ghislaine Maxwell, is still free.

She is now keeping a low profile due to all the criticism and hasn't been seen in public for a while. Until last March: she filed a lawsuit to claim the proceeds from Epstein's estate so she can pay her legal fees. She finds that quite obvious, because according to her, Epstein promised that he would always take care of her financially. Now that's some nerve, I must say. As far as I'm concerned, she should be locked up as soon as possible. And all his money should go to his victims.

Okay, I can already tell that I am getting completely worked up by this docu and the only thing we have seen so far is the trailer. In two weeks, the full docu will be out, so I still have some time to waterproof my TV, because I just guess that I will have the urge to throw a thing or two at it. But well, I think it will be a recommendation. Not because it is uplifting and easy to watch, but very interesting.
