The nicest covered terraces in the Netherlands

Clearly no gauge to be drawn in this country, but we already knew that somewhere. Two weeks ago, there was huge complaining about the heat (it was really too hot), now there is mass complaining about storm Francis and rain (it was indeed raining really hard). In other words, two weeks ago burning up on the terraces at the beach and now hiding under the parasol. But hey, you ask, we deliver. Mother Nature won't get us down that easily, because there will be drinks. For example, at one of these covered terraces in the Netherlands.
1. De Berk, Bergen op Zoom
Bemmelenberg 21, Bergen op Zoom
You sit here wonderfully. By the lake, in the middle of nowhere: pure enjoyment. Especially if you want to escape the city for a bit but still want to sit on a terrace. It won't surprise you that this is also a popular place to get married. I always find picturesque such a silly word, but I can't describe this any other way. This is very picturesque.
2. De Wachter, Ablasserdam
Dam 35, Ablasserdam
To really have drinks, this spot is not so suitable, but it is great for a long lunch or dinner. They have a so-called ‘garden room’ that adjoins the terrace, but is indeed covered. Ideal if a Francis throws a spanner in the works.
3. IJver, Amsterdam
Scheepsbouwkade 72, Amsterdam
I'm a bit cheating with this spot in Amsterdam-Noord, but I like it so much that it belongs in this list. You can find IJver in the NDSM Loods, which can have its doors completely open. Tadaaa: a terrace that is actually indoors, but not really. The terrace feeling, without the rain. TOP.
4. Het Station, Enkhuizen
Stationsplein 2, Enkhuizen
You look out over the harbor here and indeed, it is an old station hall. So delightfully quaint that you would prefer to eat apple pie with whipped cream with your grandma. Such an atmosphere. But honestly: on the covered terrace with a drink, it's also perfectly fine here. Besides the fact that the terrace is covered, there are also glass walls. So you sit well sheltered from the wind.
5. Morgan & Mees, Amsterdam
Tweede Hugo de Grootstraat 2-6, Amsterdam
In the middle of the city, you find this spot, where the wine is nicely cold, the food is incredibly tasty, and where you feel a bit outside of Amsterdam. I prefer to sit in their inner garden, which can be completely covered. A bit of people watching is not possible, but you do sit nicely shielded here.
6. De Mof, Leusden
Arnhemseweg 95, Leusden
This spot is worth a detour. The terrace is covered and heated, and you sit here so comfortably. Especially with a group, because then you can choose for the barbecue (outside, but covered). They have different tables and also a lounge area.
7. Het Bosch, Amsterdam
Jollenpad 10, Amsterdam
Even as an Amsterdammer, this is still quite an undiscovered secret. You have a view over the harbor of the Schinkel area, so especially at sunset, you sit very nicely on the (large) covered terrace.
