This is for everyone who misses their favorite cocktail bar

Your own cocktail bar at home

Honestly: the weekends are not the same anymore. They are quieter. I miss the suddenly-standing-up-at-two-in-the-morning-eating-cheese-soufflé-nights. The nights out. The dressing up. The events.

The dance parties at your favorite club. The terraces. The cocktails. The little ruckuses. We know it's just a matter of patience, but this summer already feels strange.

In the meantime, various hospitality initiatives are popping up – thank god – to keep us semi-satisfied. A star menu delivered to your home, pop-up restaurants serving spontaneous dinners, and coffee corners selling coffee from a window. But also entire digital pubs at home. Take: The Thuisborrel Club, a digital event created for all the peepz experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Tutorials, tastings, live entertainment, and shaking until you drop: with The Thuisborrel Club, you no longer have to miss your beloved cocktail bar.

Typhoon Hospitality wanted to give something back to the hospitality industry that is taking a big hit and is therefore bringing together eleven cocktail bars on May 22 and 23 (yes, the Ascension weekend, yay). Think of, among others, Pulitzer’s Bar in Amsterdam, Mr. Finch in Utrecht (OMG, that's my local pub), The Stockroom in Groningen, and The Lemonman Bar from restaurant NENI.

Anyway, everything has been thought of: you can order a cocktail box (delivered to your home) and then the party can start. The bartenders will make the cocktails from the menu live, so you can shake along with them. You just need to buy some ice and set up cool glasses. The advantage of this party is that you can hop to the next bar every hour without travel time and can just bake that cheese soufflé at night in your own crib.

So, are we going out together soon? So in.check here just the website for tickets.)
