This is how you find your face mask

women with face mask

1. The fabric mask

Pro:

1. It's fashionable: you can match it to your outfit (Chantal Janzen Televizier-Ring, hello).
2.  You can brand it with, for example, your company or you can make a special mask for your school or organization.
3. You show that you take the corona crisis and its control seriously because you have invested in a mask.
4. It's sustainable and lasts longer.

Con:

  • You have to wash it.
  • You need several to always have a clean one available.
  • It doesn't breathe very well, which can make your skin restless if you wear it for a long time.

2. The paper disposable mask

Pro:

1. It's hygienic.
2. You can also give it to someone else (you probably have several with you).
3. It's not very noticeable, which you might find nice.

Con:

  • It breaks easily.
  • It's not very sustainable (I see so many disposable masks lying around on the street).
  • The paper rubs against your nose, causing small scratches if you're sensitive to it.

3. The perspex screen

Pro:
1. People see your whole face, it looks much friendlier and moreover, they probably understand you better because they can see your mouth move.
2. It's better for your skin; it won't get clogged and will be less restless.
3. It doesn't irritate behind your ears.

Con:

  • It's quite a statement mask. There's a chance people might find you a bit over the top.
  • It's not really great for your hairdo.
  • Your glasses probably won't fit underneath it.
  • If it rains, you'll need wipers for it.

Which one do you choose? I'm still hesitating between A and C…
