This really works against homesickness

Homesickness. It is most common in children, but adults can also suffer from it. I recently read about a man who had to go abroad for work every three weeks and returned after three days because he literally became sick from homesickness. Longing for home can even manifest in fever, sleep deprivation, and reduced appetite. And you can do something about it (talking about it, seeking distraction, bringing something safe from home, integrating rituals that remind you of home, etc.), but there is one thing that really works and that I never thought of in any case.
What works excellently against homesickness is…Rapapapaaa: paracetamol. Here’s the thing. Emotional pain manifests in the same parts of the brain as physical pain, so paracetamol works there too. I would also try it for severe heartbreak. Although I hope, of course, that you don’t need it at all, that paracetamol.
