Hilarious: Floor Is Lava on Netflix

This. Is. SO. CRAZY. Seriously, isn't this what you want? Back in gym class, I always thought this was the most fun part. Even more fun than dodgeball. And I was really terrible at it, but my enthusiasm made up for it all. I'm of course talking about Floor Is Lava and that's also the name of a new Netflix series. Think of a kind of Wipeout but ten times more fun. It's really hilarious.
The concept is very simple: a kind of room filled with various devices and the ground is lava, or red water that sprays up everywhere like lava would. And people are so enthusiastic, that's really point number one (of many). People play in teams and they take it very seriously from the start. Additionally, there are various extra objects they grab from the room to help each other so they don't fall into the lava because then you're out. And you definitely don't want that.
The ultimate goal is to get through the exit, where you as a team have to try to get to as quickly as possible. Every person who makes it counts as a point, so the more people who make it, the better. And honestly: it just looks like one big playground. The participants completely disregard the question of whether it looks a bit decent. People are falling, slipping, landing on heads, chins, and backs, and then getting back up and continuing. It's so exaggeratedly American and really, I love this.
You understand that I am now fully in favor of doing this with team Amayzine, right? This is definitely the most fun team outing in the history of ever. And we are at least as enthusiastic as these Floor Is Lava teams. I just made the comparison with Wipeout (where people also bounced off balls in the most impossible unflattering ways), but this looks so much more enjoyable. And it makes me a bit jealous; it's generally not really accepted when I suggest these kinds of games. No, nowadays it's 30 Seconds and that is already crazy enough…
By the way, totally fun: each episode has a different room and a different theme. So I also have to watch all the episodes to see which one is my favorite. Oh god, I'm really becoming that type who passionately cheers for a team in front of the TV. I can feel it.
