This woman is the style guru of Princess Kate

I sometimes feel for Queen Elizabeth who has a weekly task of ruling her kingdom and keeping her family somewhat in check. Then you have the runaway Meghan and Harry, your son Andrew who is suspected of sexual abuse and who also keeps making one awkward statement after another. Fortunately, there are also certainties like her favorite daughter-in-law Sophie, although she has also made a few missteps in her life.
Sophie Helen Mountbatten-Windsor is the name.
No: Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones. Married to Prince Edward in 1999 and mother of their children Louise and James.

How did they meet each other?
Sophie worked at a radio station and met Edward when he regularly saw a colleague (or friend) of hers. After her meeting with Edward, she started her own PR agency, but in 2003 she stopped that and began working full-time for the British royal family, taking on a number of charities.
Blunders
Just before her wedding, Sophie was traveling with a – male – colleague and was photographed topless and put on the cover of The Sun. Since there was absolutely no relationship between the two and thus no journalistic relevance, The Sun decided the next day to apologize by placing an article with the headline ‘Sorry, Sophie’ on the cover and donating the entire proceeds from that day's sales to one of her charities.
A not-so-smart act was that Sophie completely lost it against someone about The Queen, about Tony Blair, about his wife Cherie Blair, about the sexuality of her husband Edward, and so on. What she didn't know was that the person was an undercover journalist and that everything ended up in the newspaper. She wrote blistering apology letters and said that some things were not meant that way or not entirely true. Anyway, it was juicy.
Style and taste
Sophie is seen as the great style inspiration for Princess Catherine. She would often buy two pieces of an item right away because she is already sure that Catherine wants it too. Sophie made it onto Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed list and is a regular customer of Jane Taylor's hats, which saw a huge sales increase after Sophie only wore her hats and fascinators.

Meghan and Sophie
Sophie was designated in the first year as the woman to help Meghan integrate into the royal family. Because she was also someone with her own career before marrying a prince. But whether Sophie will soon order dresses in triplicate (one for Meghan, one for Kate, and one for herself), I still wonder about.
