Tip tip tip: Ratched on Netflix

Admitting my mistake, I'm really not too proud for that. Because to be honest: I really didn't see this series coming. One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest is one of my all-time favorite films and doing something with that is a bit of sacrilege. Imagine they are going to make a remake of it... The horror. Just like films like Back To The Future, The Usual Suspects — some things are perfect as they were. No tinkering, then. Well, then the series Ratched was announced by Netflix and I was skeptical.
Okay, I was skeptical, but I take that back. Ratched is just a really good, interesting, and especially bizarre series. Sarah Paulson plays Ratched and does it so exceptionally well: definitely love for the whole setting. The outfits. That look of hers. Oh, and Cynthia Nixon is also in it and she is really unrecognizable as Miranda from Sex and the City.
It comes from the same creators as American Horror Story and that is clearly visible, so if you like that series, you will definitely be very happy with this one too. And if you've seen that series, you already know what I mean by how bizarre the series is. I really can't think of anything else to describe it well in one word. But really, this series is so well put together that I feel a bit ashamed that I was seriously dreading it.
I won't be the only one, you know: One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest is sensitive territory for a lot of people. But just look around on the internet if you're still not quite sure about this series. Everyone is therefore ENTHUSIASTIC. That pulled me over the first line and now I am one of many, because I am totally a fan. Did I already mention that you really have to watch this? Yes, right? That message is now quite clear, I think.
