In the house I bought, there is a cabinet. I say there is, because it is attached to the house and does not stand on its own. The cabinet spans an entire wall and in the cabinet are every book I just can't part with. I can tell you: saying goodbye to books is not my forte. So it's a good thing that with the house came a spacious bookcase, which also has some shelves underneath to tidy away my clutter. Only, the bookcase is too rustic for me and I recently labeled my taste preference as eclectic. Which means it needs to shed its off-white coat and I'm going to paint it in a muted green. Of course, it doesn't match at all with those ring-shaped door knobs that are on it. The search for new door knobs began and I found them where I didn't really expect, namely at Zara Home. And how delightfully eclectic they are. If you don't like that at all, that's fine too, they also have plenty for the less eclectic soul. Already looking forward to painting, although desire and execution can sometimes be quite far apart and that might just be after my vacation.
