Les Beiges, €57,- Chanel

I have rarely received so many compliments about and requests for my eyeshadow as this summer. At the beginning of the summer, I received a wonderful Les Beiges package from CHANEL. It is definitely my favorite line from my favorite brand. In a beige bag with the logo in the shape of a ship's rope: really, those designers at CHANEL deserve so much applause. Anyway. It included a pearly glow, a fluid ‘enlumineur’ (delightful word: enlumineur) and more lovely things that I will show you next week. But also this eyeshadow. How do I apply it? I use the top ‘compartment’ as a ‘dimmer’ to hide my red veins a bit, the white shine in the corners of my eyes and on the brow bone, just under the eyebrow, and then I dab a bit of the pink in the middle of my eyelid. In a wild mood, I also apply the brown shade where you would normally put your eyeliner in the evening. For me, it is the perfect done but not too polished version of summer makeup. I often don't even put mascara on top. I don't have any smudging when I'm pushed into the pool and I can just roll into my bed in the evening.
