Tonight we drink white chocolate liqueur

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: Tonight we drink white chocolate liqueur.
White chocolate. So I’m crazy about it (wild is a better word). And not just a piece of white chocolate bar, no, everything with a white chocolate flavor rocks my boat. Ice cream, mousse, sauce: SO DELICIOUS. And now I’ve stumbled upon something… Hallelujah!
At Aldi, or the Knaldi, as I prefer to call it, you can buy so many top things. Like… White chocolate liqueur… Oh boy.
Ballycastle White Chocolate Cream
According to the description, it’s best served cold, with ice. Then it’s wonderfully creamy with that white chocolate flavor. They call it a ‘luxurious creamy blend of alcohol‘ and I take them at their word, there at Aldi. I have to take them at their word, because testing it myself is unfortunately not possible yet: this creamy seducer is not yet available in the Netherlands. Emphasis on not yet.
But if you’re heading to England (which I think is quite unlikely at the moment, thanks to ‘rona), you can grab it from the shelf there. Because it is available there.
Buuut don’t be sad: the chance is reasonably to very high that we’ll also get it in the Netherlands. Many things that premiered in the English Aldi are now also available with us, and since it contains only 12 percent alcohol, this white chocolate liqueur can also simply be sold in supermarkets. Does anyone feel called to start a petition for this or shall we just wait and see?
