Traveling to Italy during corona times

Of course, I had a bit of fear too. Is it safe? Is it wise? In the end, love for Italy won over certainty. Moreover, we are here in our own house and in the worst case (lockdown) I would be with my family in Italy. So we went. And you might too. Because we have to keep living. Adjusted, but we must live.
So I'm preparing you.
Face masks
You have to wear them everywhere in Italy as soon as you step inside somewhere. Outside it's not necessary, but many Italians also walk outside with a mask on. Even on the beach, over their swimsuit.
Gloves
You need them for the supermarket. And the face mask too.
Sanitizers
They are really everywhere. Even on the beach. Every twenty meters. Really great.
Distance
In Italy, people keep 1 meter distance. Which is also sufficient according to international guidelines. The sunbeds on the beach are neatly spaced apart.
Waiters and waitresses all wear face masks.
To say that you are safe here is, of course, going too far. I am not a virologist. But I certainly have the impression that everyone here is doing everything to comply with the rules and prevent a next wave.
