A little hotel, lounging at breakfast and then relaxing at the beach or pool with a book. The travel industry is cautiously hinting at a staycation, as traveling is off the table for now. This also applies vice versa, so it seems to be a quiet summer in Amsterdam. Not if it’s up to the initiators of the Hotel Night, as they are coming up with an extra summer edition of the Hotel Night to support hotels, hospitality, and small cultural institutions. Together with hoteliers and the Municipality of Amsterdam, they are calling on Amsterdammers to book a Summer Staycation in their own city. At the end of May, early booking starts and you can see who, what, and where, so stay tuned.
