Kérastase shampoo, €19.95 LookFantastic, Kérastase conditioner, €23.95 LookFantastic

Last week I was the lucky one who got to sit in the chair at Rick van het Meer, the hairdresser in the coolest corner of Roelof Hartstraat. He looked at my dry, long locks and suddenly I felt shame. It had definitely been two years since I had been to the hairdresser for my dead ends. And that was evident. I only went to the hairdresser to have my roots touched up, but no scissors came near me. Now you might think that my hair falls to my hips, but unfortunately that's not the case. A case of ‘I twist my ends all day’ which causes it to break very quickly. Something had to be done about this. Now I have the tip for you: Kerastase Resistance Bain Extentioniste, or the miracle shampoo that makes your hair stronger and helps it grow. After a few months, I really saw an extra one to two centimeters in length. Rick also uses this shampoo in his salon, but he takes it a step further: a Fusion-dose. That is a personalized hair mask in the form of a spray. You can choose from a number of basic ampoules (Concentre), which are then supplemented with boosters. There are twenty different boosters and because I tend to be quite indecisive, I left the choice to Rick. Believe me, my hair has never felt so soft and healthy. Maybe not really an option to buy for home, but all the more reason to quickly return to the salon. For now, I mainly keep washing my hair with the miracle shampoo, making it seem as if I've been to Rick every week.
