We told you two weeks ago: the trend of 2020 is to go away to do nothing. Of course, you can do that here, but if you really want to be ‘away from the world’ for a while, I recommend visiting Juma Lodge in Brazil. In the middle of the Amazon, 19 bungalows suddenly appear out of nowhere, standing on long poles in the water among the trees. You wake up in the morning to the sound of monkeys and during the day you explore the area by canoe or venture into the jungle. From your hammock, you then end your day while watching the sun set over Lake Juma. I have never seen such a beautiful starry sky. There is no wifi or reception, but when you are there, you can certainly do without it.
