I am quite biased when it comes to my gyms. I prefer to go to The Gym Republic, then to The Gym Republic, and if it really, really, really has to be, to: The Gym Republic. It is the gym that got me back into working out, so I am hooked on the place at de Valschermkade, the interior and the trainers. But suddenly I have options, because my (of course nothing of mine there, you understand) The Gym Republic has recently opened a partner location at Pieter Baststraat 5 in Oud-Zuid. Now I can go to The Gym Republic and to The Gym Republic, what a solution. Step inside, it is the nicest or second nicest gym in Amsterdam, because the other one is of course The Gym Republic.
