What we know so far about Grace and Frankie season 7

If you want, I can already tell you what our friends Grace and Frankie have in store for us in the seventh season without showing the trailer (because I don't think it exists yet). Or at least what we know so far about the new season. I've gathered it, enjoyed it, and finally typed it out. Oh guys, just eleven months to go until January 2021.
- An exact release date for the seventh season is not officially available yet, but a guess is January 2021. This is because there has been a year between each season so far, and the last season has only just started streaming.
- With season 7 on the way, Grace & Frankie is officially dubbed the longest-running Netflix Original ever.
- Will season 7 really be the very, very, very last season ever? Heartbreak: yes. ‘We are both delighted and heartbroken that ‘Grace & Frankie’ will be back for its seventh, though final, season. We’re so grateful that our show has been able to deal with issues that have really connected to our grand generation. And their kids, and amazingly, their kids as well! We’ll miss these two old gals, Grace and Frankie, as much as many of their fans will, but we’ll still be around. We’ve outlasted so many things – just hope we don’t outlast the planet,’ said Jane and Lily. Oh guys, we really can’t do without these life goals types.
- Season 7 has not 13 but a total of 16 (!) episodes, bringing the total number of Grace & Frankie episodes to a whopping 94 since 2015. A small consolation, those three extra episodes, right?
- A somewhat vague hint from creator Marta Kauffman is that we can expect a completely new side of both Robert and Sol as well as Grace and Frankie. And now you think: okay, tell me more. Well, no, not really. This is exactly nothing we have to work with for now.
- Not only our iconic quartet will be part of the last season, but also (thank god) Bud, Coyote, Brianna, and Mallory are incredibly ready to roll.
- Grace, Frankie, Robert, and Sol will probably all continue to live under one roof in the last season of the series. Excited.
And if you’ve never seen Grace and Frankie, I not only find that incomprehensible but I’m especially very jealous of everything you still have ahead of you in life. Read here why you really should watch our series now.
