Word niet boos, maar wraakzuchtig
I once met a woman who had the nickname ‘the terror of wealthy Netherlands’ because she managed to arrange the highest alimonies for her (female) clientele. But that's a tip compared to what these celebrities had to pay their ex-partners in the making. For fun, I calculated what the ladies (and one gentleman, thank goodness) received.
1. Linda Hamilton 44 million
She was married for a measly two years to James Cameron (Titanic maker), but she did receive 44 million dollars for that. That's 22 million per year. There are years when I earn less, I might add.
2. Cindy Silva 70 million
Well, you do have to be married for 16 years to Kevin Costner (seems like quite a bit of work), but then you get something. 70 million. 4.3 million per year. Well.
3. Guy Ritchie 80 million
In the context of emancipation, I am glad that there is also a woman (Madonna) who paid a man. Our Guy received 80 million for a period of 8 years. 10 million per year.
4. Amy Irving 88 million
After being Steven Spielberg's wife for four years (I KNOW her from the movie Anastasia), she was traded in for another actress. A balm for the wound: 88 million dollars in Amy's bank account. That's 22 million per married year.
5. Elin Nordegren 90 million

Well, you would be married in community of property to a man who became the richest man in the world during your marriage. A bitter detail is that he fell from the first place as the richest man due to the divorce, but MacKenzie made it back to the richest woman. Haha.
