Yesss, Married At First Sight Australia is back again

I can really complain like the best, but I seriously have so little to complain about in the past weeks. I could just fill a work week with MAFS Australia (and I absolutely did that, yes), Love Island started again and Undercover too and well, I am completely content with it. It just becomes less when you are caught up with all the series. And so you have to wait. I hate waiting (here comes the complaining again).
BUT THEN. I found out that the seventh season of Married At First Sight Australia has also already started. There are now seven episodes online and I can only say that it is so much fun again. I was a bit skeptical, you know, because can it surpass or at least match that sixth season? We can hardly judge that now, of course, but... The predictions are good, you know.
Let's go through this seventh season, because the weddings are now behind us, the honeymoons have started and from the first episode there was actually already drama. In short: exactly what we want. And of course the first season (long overdue actually, but better late than never) in which there is a same-sex marriage, between Tash and Amanda. Because they also feel more than justified that they deserve a chance at love, you really want it for them.
1. So let's start with these two: this went very rapidly downhill. The wedding was completely perfect, and afterwards Tash became a colder ice princess than Elsa in Frozen. Hoooly shitballs, there was really nothing left to save. Honestly, I also found it a bit exaggerated that she explicitly didn't make an effort. Reading books on the beach, refusing to talk... Poor Amanda. My prediction: they will be the first to go.
2. Poppy and Luke won't follow quickly, or maybe even sooner. I understand both sides, because Poppy is just crying that she misses her kids and that doesn't seem like the most ideal way for Luke to get to know someone. While they are both really nice people. You can't say that about Stacey and Michael. Or about Aleks and Ivan. They really fall into the categories of ‘where do you find them?’ and ‘how do you even think to match them?’.
3. Stacey's friends literally look up how much Michael earns AT THE WEDDING. Those Google results were not lying and tadaaa: Stacey is convinced. In the name of love, she will give this a chance. In other words, in the name of well-filled bank accounts. The same goes for Aleks and Ivan, aren't they completely mismatched? I predict a lot of drama with these couples. Stacey will be the Jessika of this season. They already have the same lips and the sense for drama too.
4. Ah, then the Cameron and Jules of this season, or Connie and Jonathan. I really think Connie is too cute. You really want her to have an incredibly sweet guy, right? That she can honestly say about herself that she has ‘nothing special’. I really think she is a very beautiful woman. The 'want factor' here really goes through the roof as far as I'm concerned.
5. And Hayley, my god, that is going to be a tough little relationship, I think. It seems a bit like they have deliberately matched only bad couples this season. Thanks for that, makers. This is going to be a week of enjoyment.
