You want to ask this question to your friends now

Okay, don't exaggerate, Kiek. Not at all an important question of the day, just act normal. And sorry colleagues for waking up this morning to these kinds of weird questions from me about the app. But suddenly a thought popped into my head. If you were a firefly and today is your last day on earth, what would you eat? A table full of fish. That for sure. Skate wing with butter and lemon. Hmm, sole. Mountains of sashimi. A piece of red velvet cake from De Drie Graefjes and then continue with a platter of appetizers from the Lebanese/Syrian cuisine.
Oh my, this firefly is a foodie. But being alone is just so lonely, right? Shall we then very Catholic have our last supper together, Amayzers? Yes? Good. Colleagues, spill the juice. If you were that little firefly, what's on the menu?

‘Pasta from the parmesan. I think I would dive into that parmesan myself, but I would definitely eat five kilos of pasta from the parmesan. It doesn't matter if I collapse afterwards, because it's my last day as a firefly. And then I'm going to swim in more liters of Bernardus. To top it off with incredibly creamy sgroppino. And my god, I forgot my appetizer: burrata. Definitely burrata. Was it the intention that it would be a three-course dinner?’
Lotte
‘Difficult. I have to say one thing to myself now. Because if my family or friends read this, they will react surprised if I say something other than ‘fries with mayo’. I love fries, especially those freshly cut. Manneken Pis is also delicious! Do you know that one, Kiek? It's also in Utrecht. Oh, so tasty.’
May-Britt
‘A tub of Ben & Jerry's Netflix & chill, together with a warm apple pie from De Taarten Kamer. Oh, and melanzane alla parmigiana. Fresh baguette with olive oil and nice salt.’
Annick
‘Definitely flying towards Italy, because it seems much nicer to spend my last day there. Then I would set a whole table full of cheese, cheese, and more cheese. Burrata, pasta from a parmesan cheese with fresh truffle, pizza quattro formaggi and then top it off with the best cheese platter you've ever eaten. Dying from cheese actually. Sounds good to me.’
Danielle
‘Soup with crispy sourdough bread and a whole load of butter. A whole mountain of spicy tuna and California rolls. Bitterballen. Fries with mayo. Did I already mention sourdough bread with butter?’
Tessa
‘Oh dear Kiek, what are you asking me now hahaha. Okay let's see. Can I choose one thing? Truffle chips. Definitely. Topped with a piece of creamy truffle brie. Truffle is life. Truffle knock out on my last day. Delicious.’
Annabelle
‘Hmm. As an appetizer, my inner firefly would dip that goooooood bread in olive oil with balsamic and for the main course enjoy truffle pasta with extra parmigianoooo and truffle with nice Chardonnay and for dessert tiramisu. #wijnenwijnenwijnen.’
Wieke
‘I love Thai green curry, so I would definitely have that for dinner. I'm a bottomless pit so if it's my last day, I might as well keep eating. A second dinner of a real Italian pizza then. Cheesecake and a cheese platter for dessert. Onion soup beforehand, because that #fusion can do it, right? Breakfast with a smoothie bowl because those are delicious. Lunch with pancakes with white chocolate sauce and strawberries and as a snack Eggs Florentine on a brioche. And lots of chai lattes and the best wines and a Moscow Mule. Shit, now I'm hungry. Oh, and something with satay sauce too, because that's really good with everything.’
Lilian
‘And you're asking that to a pregnant woman? Hahaha. Oh wait, but then I'm a firefly so I'm not pregnant and I can eat everything again. NICE. Smoked salmon, sushi and especially the flambéed tuna, and stinky cheeses. Oh, and banana donuts! Yeah shit, I can't answer that normally now, man. I'm really thinking of everything I can't have. Kilos of Kinder chocolate too. Milkshakes.’
