1 in 10 people likes to work from home... naked

To be honest: thanks to the whole corona period, we have learned that working from home can be just as effective. That it works just as well.

And because of that, you have a greater sense of freedom: you have no travel time, travel costs, and you can just have lunch wherever you feel like, instead of having to score a daily special in some filthy canteen. But now that we are slowly allowed more back to the office, it turns out that many people are not so keen on it. We like working from home, even now that corona is almost over. And now comes the funny part: at least 1 in 10 people works from home… naked. As in: completely nude in front of the laptop?

Research agency Wakefield conducted a study on working from home. And what turned out? 40 percent of remote workers sometimes watch TV while working from home or do household chores during work hours. And that's not all: we also like to take off some clothes on such a home office day. Or, if it has to be: at most in some underwear. Especially on scorching hot days, we can imagine it, but well, sitting at the kitchen table brainstorming in the middle of autumn without any clothes on? Meh.

We have even more guilty pleasures, now that we have entered the great era of working from home. Another big advantage for 36 percent of people is that they can ‘sleep in’ during the week and wake up five minutes before the workday starts. And with that, 8 percent of people are also very happy that they don’t have to rush to shower in the morning: they prefer not to shower at all, then. Saves water and time: more time to Netflix or game. Well. One person works diligently from home and is just as effective as in the office, while another cheats a bit here and there…

Maybe it’s best for everyone if we just do a mix? If you work full-time, then just two to three days a week in the office and the rest at home. And for those who like it, nice and naked. But just wear a smart suit to the office when you see your boss in real life again. Everyone gets what they want.
