Aiii: botox is bad for your sex life

botox is bad for your sex life

A little prick a.k.a. the botox in your frown is becoming increasingly common. It is said to have not only a beneficial effect on any wrinkles or lines but also on your stress levels, researchers say. But now a disturbing side effect is emerging: botox could be bad for your sex life. That's what you call a troubling message.

But how can that be? You would think that botox would actually make you more appealing. Not because you are supposedly more attractive to potential partners, but mainly because you feel happier with your appearance and therefore more confident. And I dare say that feeling good in your skin can lead to more fun between the sheets. Well, think again, because botox apparently affects the orgasm and not in a good way. We certainly didn't see that coming when we tackled the frown at the botox clinic after yet another video call.

The intensity of your orgasm is actually tied to the frown on your forehead. Just before you reach a climax, you apparently start to frown intensely, pay attention to that the next time you're almost there. Research shows that due to the inability to frown, a) it takes longer for you to even reach that climax and b) you experience the orgasm less intensely. Aiii, such a relaxed frown really dampens the festive mood.

Among people who do not use botox, there was no decrease in pleasure surrounding the orgasm. This also applied to people who had fillers instead of botox, in case you're looking for a substitute that doesn't ruin your sexual enjoyment. The researchers believe that the frown is not only important in communication with your sexual partner, as it is also important to see if someone enjoys something, but it also influences how pleasurable that sexual encounter is. It's worth considering if you're thinking about another little prick in the frown.
