The finest winter items can be bought here (for little!)

The days are short, it's cold outside. The cue to buy nice things to make it cozy at home. But I have two conditions; it shouldn't be too expensive (because December is already a pricey month) and two; I like the stores to be close together because it’s cold outside. Those two requirements are met at Amsterdam The Style Outlets, exactly between Amsterdam and Haarlem and very easily accessible by car and train.

There I bought a beautiful Max Mara coat (go inside at Intrend) for €401,- and a The Kooples blazer for €160,- instead of €389,-. It’s such a nice place for these winter days. Everything is decorated and breathes Christmas and you find exactly what you need right now. Warm scarves and gloves and coats from Max Mara, delicious pans for winter stews at Le Creuset, beautiful duvets, sheets, and bedspreads at Anne de Solène, a delightful gingerbread cookie coffee at Starbucks, and the finest pajamas at Hunkemöller. And if you’re going skiing, treat yourself to a discounted pair of sunglasses from Victoria Beckham, Gucci, or Prada.

Here you don't need to be on a ventilator after looking at a price tag. At most, just catch your breath from lifting all the heavy bags you've collected.
