‘Armie Hammer is unlikely to be prosecuted’

America is still a strange country. Sometimes people are thrown in jail for years for possessing weed, but if you are a rich actor accused of rape and cannibalistic tendencies, then... Very little seems to happen in the case of Armie Hammer. Earlier this year, he was accused of rape by a woman who calls herself ‘Effie’, she later filed a report about this.

And now TMZ reports that the investigation into this rape is nearly complete and it seems that Armie Hammer will not be prosecuted for it. The reason for this is that it would not be a strong case, as this Effie allegedly contacted him again after the rape. The fact that she was completely in love with him and that does not mean you accept everything someone does does not seem to come across.

The fact that since Effie several other women have come forward with similar stories — many stories that confirmed his cannibalistic tendencies — will also not matter much. Just a bit about that cannibalism: to another ex, Hammer said he wanted to take out her rib to throw it on the barbecue and eat it. Very specific, very grim, and very strange. Everyone has their fetish, and that's perfectly fine, but eating each other is a step too far.

What I personally find most annoying about this is that he may have lost quite a few film roles because of this, but he was just living his best life on the Cayman Islands. He claimed to have checked into a rehab clinic, but he was soon photographed with a new woman by his side, while he was very much not in a rehab clinic. Oh yes, and on his private Instagram account, he also posted a photo of a naked woman with the caption: ‘f*cking Miss Cayman’. Classy.

Well, the final word is with the LAPD, who will ultimately have to decide whether he will indeed not be prosecuted. So who knows, maybe the case is not yet closed.
